MYSTERY QUILTS -  The mystery quilts have become popular due to the fact that you complete/almost complete a lap size quilt top.  There are now 2 types of mystery quilts offered – traditionally pieced or modern/contemporary design.  Cost is $75 (includes pattern and lunch on Saturday)

Modern/Contemporary – Friday, Saturday– May 4, 5, 2018
TIME AFTER TIME – Using one jelly roll only – no background.  It involves curved piecing using random cuts, no points to match.  No pre-cutting or pre-sewing!  Just bring your jelly roll. Quilt top will be 48” x 57”.
Thursday, March 29th  10:00am – 4pm.  Lunch is on your own – go out or brown bag it!

T SHIRT QUILT – Need to make one?  Always wanted to make one, but didn’t know where to start?  This class will teach the basics to prepare the T-Shirts and give a variety of ways to lay them out – design opportunities!

GYPSY WIFE – A different approach to this pattern by Jen Kingwell.  Making the quilt by Sections instead of by blocks, we will get more control of the color values and contrast.  Beginning with a 3 day workshop to get started, we will go over fabric choices and the best approach for Sections 1 and 2 (There are 10 sections.)  We will be cutting and sewing during all workshops.  The other workshops will be 2 day sessions to move the project forward.  There will be homework!  Sections will be assembled as we go!  The goal is to be done in 5 classes instead of 10.
Workshop One:  February 17, 18, 19 1:00 – 4:00pm each day
Workshop Two:  March 24, 1:00-4:00pm, March 25, 1:00-400pm
Workshop Three:  April 27 6:00 – 9:00pm April 28 1:00 – 4:00pm
Workshop Four:  May 25, 6:00 – 9:00pm, May 26 1:00 – 4:00pm
Workshop Five:  June 15, 6:00 – 9:00pm, June 16 1:00 – 4:00pm

ENGLISH KNOT– This will be the first of a series of blocks from the book Stashtastic.  Good use of fat quarters right out of your stash.  We will make 6 blocks – using 6 fat quarters and a background.  Block is 14 ½” unfinished.  (Other blocks to be scheduled will be Cathedral Ceiling, Short Circuit, French Twist and Rick Rack Repeat.)  Sharpen those piecing skills!  Both daytime and evening classes will be available.
Thursday, May 3 – 10:00am – noon or 6:30 – 9:00pm.  Cost is $25

MODERN TRIANGLES – Tired of piecing squares?  Want to try a new angle?  Here is a series of classes to make pieced triangles.  There will be equilateral, right angle and isosceles triangles.  Book required:  Modern Triangles.
Wednesdays, June 13, 20, 27.  Daytime and evening classes available.  Cost will be $25 per session.

NEW BEGINNER CLASS – A new sampler has been chosen to introduce you to quilting.  Learn the basics and make a 72” x 72” quilt.   Good quilt to sharpen those piecimg skills.  Classes to begin in July.  Cost will be $25 per class.  Sign ups for those interested has begun.  More details as we get closer to the dates.  Daytime and evening classes will be offered.  Looking at Tuesdays.
